ALL THE DEETS
Four nights lodging in two super cool AirBNBs in the heart of Moab. Each attendee will get their own bed.
All meals! Including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. We want you to be well fed and not hangry.
Three adventure elopement styled shoots, designed to tell the true story of an all day elopement (think getting ready, first looks, vows, activities, etc.)
One-on-one time with each styled shoot couple, so there's no fighting amongst the other photographers to get the photos you need.
Branding photos of you adventuring around Moab, because potential couples want to see your smiling face.
Education delivered ahead of time in an online course format—including marketing, SEO, blogging, composition, posing, and my strategies for getting booked in dream destinations.
NOT INCLUDED:
Flights and transportation to/from Moab are not included. Many of the attendees will be arriving early or staying late, so it will be up to you to coordinate transportation with the other workshop members. This is industry standard, and we will help facilitate this in the group chat.

I’m the owner and photographer at Hazel & Lace and I’m a business coach. I help adventure photographers achieve their business and financial goals, and I’m here to teach you the exact strategies I’ve used to shoot epic elopements all over the country.
After years of trial and error, various online marketing courses, expensive photography workshops (that were, quite honestly, hit and miss), and hiring a business coach, I uncovered what it takes to build a successful photography business that allows me to travel the world and be stoked about it.

I’m the videographer at Hazel & Lace and High Alpine Films. I have a unique perspective when it comes to building a business because I recently quit my mechanical engineering career to pursue videography full time.
Hopefully you understand the reference to The Office above. Basically, as the assistant to the regional manager, I’m Megan’s right hand man. I’ll be at the workshop to help everything stay on track and organized, as well as taking plenty of behind-the-scenes video. I’m also pretty good at mixing cocktails if that’s your thing.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging with my dogs in the mountains or the desert.

Education
Get access to a pre-recorded course before the workshop so you can show up confident and ready to create.
We’ll cover composition, storytelling, posing, how to photograph impactful styled shoots, and my step-by-step marketing strategy to book adventurous couples in Moab and beyond.

Lodging & Meals
We have reserved two AirBNBs in the heart of Moab, strategically located close to Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse, and all the other attractions in Moab. Each AirBNB has multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and a full kitchen. We want to make sure you are comfortable and well fed!

Styled shoots
We will have three adventure elopement styled shoots, featuring a whole range of activities from getting ready, first looks, vows, first dances, off-roading, hiking, and exploring. You will receive one-on-one time with the couples and will leave with THREE galleries to inspire couples to choose an all day elopement.
04.
BRanding Photos
Included in the workshop is a specific time to get branding photos of each other. This is a time to explore and enjoy ourselves, and get behind-the scenes video and photos of us being adventurous. Branding photos are an important part of the marketing strategies you'll be learning.

introduction
We meet at the AirBNBs after 3pm in Moab. The exact address will be given to the attendees ahead of time.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your own transportation to Moab and to the AirBNB.

Set up expectations for the styled shoots (it’s very important that everyone understands that we are not fighting for photos, it will be structured and everyone will get the time they need)

DAY TWO
november 4, 2025
marlboro point full day elopement
This day is all about wild landscapes, off-road adventure, and capturing a full elopement story. From a cave Airbnb to tricked-out Jeeps, we’ll photograph getting ready, a scenic drive through Long Canyon, and a golden hour ceremony at Marlboro Point—one of the most breathtaking spots in Moab.
Rough schedule of the day:
- Start with breakfast at the Airbnb
- Getting ready + first look at a unique cave-style Airbnb
- Pick up tricked-out Jeeps and hit Long Canyon Road, stopping for portraits along the way
- Midday break for snacks and a picnic in the desert
- Wrap the day at Marlboro Point with a sunset ceremony, portraits, and a champagne celebration
DAY THREE
november 5, 2025
corona arch full day elopement
This day is for the hikers. We’ll take it slow and soak it all in—starting with a chill morning at the Airbnb before heading out to one of the most iconic spots in Moab. Expect desert views, trail portraits, and moments that actually feel like a full elopement day.
Rough schedule of the day:
- Breakfast + pack up hiking gear at the Airbnb
- Hike to Corona Arch with photo stops along the trail
- Picnic + letter reading from loved ones
- Sunset ceremony under the arch
- Star photos (if the weather cooperates)
- Hike back with headlamps under the stars
DAY four
november 6, 2025
castle valley full day elopement
This one’s for the wide open spaces and dramatic views. We’ll kick things off slow, then stop at Looking Glass Arch for some epic portraits and wind our way through Castle Valley for a sunset ceremony that feels straight out of a movie. Expect golden light, red rock backdrops, and lots of time to create.
Rough schedule of the day:
- Morning chill time + breakfast at the Airbnb
- Getting ready + first look
- Drive out to Looking Glass Arch for portraits
- Midday downtime or picnic stop
- Sunset ceremony + portraits in Castle Valley
- Dinner & games
DAY Five
november 7, 2025
day 5 - headshots & fun
We’ll wrap things up with a sunrise branding shoot in Arches National Park—golden light, epic backdrops, and some fresh photos of you doing your thing. Afterward, we’ll head back to the Airbnb for breakfast and pack up. Checkout is at 11am, but you’ll leave with memories, new friends, and a seriously upgraded portfolio.

The styled shoots will be designed to give you the images to tell a story of an all day elopement. There will be getting ready photos, first look, vows, cake cutting, drinks, portraits, dancing, hiking, off-roading, etc. I want you to be able to use these images to inspire couples to hire you for more than a couple hours.
